Parents

Welcome

As a St. Albans parent, you are a member of a community with a strong history of academic excellence, service, and fellowship.
St. Albans parents, through the Parents’ Association, play a crucial role in the success of the school and the education of our boys, by fundraising, volunteering, and upholding the high standards we set for our students. All St. Albans parents are members of the Parents’ Association, which works throughout the year to support the school, its students, its faculty, and its staff through a wide variety of volunteer activities and monthly meetings.

Annual Giving

Bulldog Bash

The Parents’ Association hosts the annual Bulldog Bash, a wonderful night of delicious food, crafted cocktails, dancing, and much more to kick off the school year. The evening provides parents with an opportunity to connect with familiar faces and new members of the St. Albans community. Tickets to the Bulldog Bash are available here.

A favorite highlight of the Bulldog Bash is the opportunity to sign up for private events generously hosted by St. Albans parents throughout the winter and spring. Sign-Up Parties are creative, intimate, and fun. Tickets for Sign-Up Parties will be limited and made available both online before the Bash and during the party, so gather a few friends and get your fingers ready to sign up.

Christmas House Tour

The annual Christmas House Tour, now in its 42nd year, is the Parents’ Association’s highly anticipated community-building and fundraising activity, which supports our beloved faculty and enhances the academic experience for all students. The Christmas House Tour is open to our community and all of our neighbors near and far. St. Albans families generously open up their homes for tours, the campus turns into a dazzling boutique market, and the Refectory into a beautiful banquet hall. For more information, please visit us at STAChristmasHouseTour.org.

Student Exchange Shop

The Student Exchange Shop collects donations of gently used dress-code items and resells them at a discount to the school community. Proceeds from these activities help support school faculty and staff with initiatives like annual bonuses and parent-administered grants for classroom materials and faculty development.

Parent Education Events

Hosted by the Parents’ Association, Parent Education Events bring in experts in fields related to raising boys and adolescents in the modern era. Tackling topics such as social media, identity, college applications, artificial intelligence, and so much more, these seminars create opportunities for discourse and community building.
Located in Washington D.C., St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
