  • Complete and Submit Application Form

    All applicants are encouraged to apply online through our application vendor, Ravenna. All applications must be submitted by January 7, 2025. There is no fee to apply for a non-entry year at St. Albans. To create an admissions account or log in to an existing account, please click here.

  • Complete and Submit Applicant Questionnaire

    For students applying to grades 9 through 11, typed answers to the Upper School applicant questionnaire are due January 15, 2025. The applicant will be asked to answer seven separate questions. No outside source should be used to complete the questionnaire. The form for students to submit their completed questionnaire can be accessed through Ravenna.
  • Submit Teacher Recommendations

    By early January, parents should submit a Transcript Request form (accessible in Ravenna) for academic records from the current year (first and second quarter) and previous school year to their son’s head of school or registrar. Also by early January, parents should submit, again through their Ravenna account, the two Teacher Recommendation forms to their son’s current math and English teachers. An applicant’s transcript and teacher recommendations must be received by the Admissions Office no later than January 15, 2025.
  • Complete SSAT or ISEE Admissions Testing (Optional)

    For applicants to grades 10 and 11, students may submit scores for either the SSAT or ISEE by January 15, 2025. Either test is acceptable. Students who choose to submit testing should register for either test in the fall; the test should be taken no later than early January for the Admissions Office to receive it by the January 15, 2025 deadline. Applicants for whom English is not a native language are strongly encouraged to submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam along with either ISEE or SSAT scores.   • Apply For Financial Aid (Optional)

    St. Albans uses the Clarity platform for financial aid. The financial aid application process will open on October 1. To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The mobile-friendly application typically takes fewer than 30 minutes to complete and permits users to save their progress and return at any time. The application is also available in Spanish. The application fee is $60. Please remember to return to the Clarity dashboard after you complete and submit the application.
