Decision Notification

Decision letters will be available in each applicant's Ravenna account on February 28, 2025. An applicant will be advised one of the following: that he is being offered admission, that he has been placed on a waiting list, or that we are unable to offer him admission. If an applicant accepts an offer of admission, his parents must return the signed enrollment contract by March 14. The school will make every effort to make financial aid awards simultaneously with offers of admission.

  • Schedule Family Tour

    Beginning on September 9, 2024, families applying for the 2025-26 school year may register for a campus tour through our application portal, Ravenna. During these visits, applicants and their parents will tour the school with members of the Admissions Office and learn more about the academic, athletic, and artistic programs that St. Albans offers.   • Complete and Submit Application Form

    Apply online through our application vendor, Ravenna by January 7, 2025. St. Albans is able to provide a waiver code for the listed application fee if it poses a financial challenge for your family — please contact our office if that is the case.

  • Student Writing Sample

    Applicants to grades 4 are required to submit a four to six sentence response to a writing prompt in Ravenna. Student writing samples are due by January 15, 2025.
  • Submit School Transcripts & Teacher Recommendations

    An applicant’s transcript and teacher recommendations must be submitted through Ravenna and received by the Admissions Office no later than January 15, 2025.  Submit a Transcript Request form for academic records from the current year (first and second quarter) and previous school year to their son’s head of school through Ravenna. Additionally, parents should use Ravenna to request and submit two Teacher Recommendation forms for the homeroom teachers who have taught the applicant during the current and past year.
  • Complete Admissions Testing

    Families who have submitted their applications by our January 7 application deadline will have their child automatically registered for our required admissions testing. Testing will occur on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Testing day logistics and confirmation of this date will be sent to applicants in early January.
  • Apply for Financial Aid (optional)

    St. Albans uses the Clarity platform for financial aid. The financial aid application process will open on October 1. To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The mobile-friendly application typically takes fewer than 30 minutes to complete and permits users to save their progress and return at any time. The application is also available in Spanish. The application fee is $60. Please remember to return to the Clarity dashboard after you complete and submit the application.
