Your Generosity Supports Our Community

St. Albans is deeply appreciative of the thousands of alumni, parents, and friends whose generosity supports our teachers and our students, and expresses that gratitude in a variety of ways, a few of which are laid out below.

List of 5 items.

  • Annual Giving Donors

All donors to Annual Giving are recognized each year, alongside their peers, in the Annual Report, published in late summer. Alumni and current parents who support Annual Giving are also included in their class’s or form’s participation rate, reinforcing Canon Martin’s axiom (paraphrased here), “when one is thanked, all are thanked.”
  • Headmaster's Associates

Donors who contribute more than $2,500 (and young alumni who contribute $500, $1,000, or $1,500 or more) are recognized, with great thanks, as members of the Headmaster’s Associates. Year after year, leadership provides the foundation upon which Annual Giving success is built. If you have any questions about giving levels for Headmaster's Associates, please call (202) 537-5687.
  • The 1909 Society

The 1909 Society recognizes donors for their loyalty and devotion to the School. Highlighted in the Annual Report, members (alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends) have made gifts to St. Albans for 3 (or more) consecutive years. Stalwart and unfailing support, year after year, is essential in order for St. Albans to fulfill its mission to the boys and their teachers.
  • Donors Beyond Annual Giving

Donors who support other school priorities beyond Annual Giving (for example, those who support specific scholarships, fellowships, or other named funds) are recognized in the Annual Report, and may also receive periodic updates on the progress of the fund or scholarship.
  • Harriet Lane Johnston Society

Everyone who supports St. Albans through a planned gift—such as a trust or bequest—becomes a member of the Harriet Lane Johnston Society and is recognized annually in the Annual Report.
St. Albans would not be as strong, nor have as a bright future, without the extraordinary generosity of those who believe in its mission. Thank you.
Located in Washington D.C., St. Albans School is a private, all boys day and boarding school. For more than a century, St. Albans has offered a distinctive educational experience for young men in grades 4 through 12. While our students reach exceptional academic goals and exhibit first-rate athletic and artistic achievements, as an Episcopal school we place equal emphasis upon moral and spiritual education.
