Family-Style Lunches

Throughout the year, students rotate to different teachers’ tables so that each boy truly gets to know — and be known by — the faculty. Family-style lunches have become a tradition at St. Albans because we believe that the best in a boy emerges when he knows that he has the support of his peers and teachers.

Typical Lunch Menu

Daily lunch includes a protein, a carbohydrate source, a vegetarian option, soup, fresh vegetables, and a simple dessert.

The salad bar is filled with fresh vegetables, a protein such as tuna salad, chicken salad, or grilled chicken, grains, yogurt, and fruit. Additionally, a full sandwich bar of cold cuts and peanut butter and jelly is available to students.

Breakfast is available each morning before classes. The menu includes eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon, pancakes or french toast, fresh fruit, and cereal.

Dinner is also available for dorm residents and students with evening commitments, such as a rehearsal or late sports event.
