Upper School students had the opportunity to learn from fellow STA Bulldogs at last week's Upper School Assembly. Four alumni returned to Trapier Theater to share their experiences on the Close and since leaving St. Albans, take part in a Q & A session, and offer helpful advice to the boys.
The returning alumni were Theo Johnson '23, Julian Matthews '22, Matthew Teplitz '17, and Brandon Torng '20. The Q&A session was paneled by Upper School English teacher and DEI Coordinator Mr. Kyle Money. Each alum had a chance to answer prepared questions on their time at St. Albans, the transition to college and work-life, and their tips on overcoming the inevitable challenges that life will pose. Afterwards, students had the opportunity to ask their own questions, ranging from what the alums favorite refectory meal was (General Tso's, of course), to their favorite sports (usually the one's they played themselves), to what they miss most about their years at STA. After the Q&A, the alums caught up with old friends, coaches, and teachers before receiving parting gifts from STA and going their separate ways.
