College decisions, waiting lists, and making your decision...

Hi Everyone,

Phew. You made it through the toughest part of the college process--late March and early April!

Now it is your turn to decide!

For those of you who got in to exactly the place you wanted, congratulations! For those of you who face a more confusing choice, relish in the yes-es, consider the waiting lists, and shake off the no's. It is always more fun to get in than to not get in, but you can only go to one school, so really look carefully at the choices in front of you -- even the ones you are inclined to discount -- and see the possibilities. You have amazing options!

To that end, please make sure that you have updated us on all of your decisions. You can do this by sending us an email or scheduling a meeting. Make sure you let us know now if there are waitlists that seem intriguing -- there are things you should be thinking about doing now to position yourself well on a waiting list.

Pay attention to the response deadline for all of your colleges; for some that date is May 1, for others it is May 2, and this year, it could be May 15 or beyond. Read all of the instructions for your school of choice; some require a financial deposit, some do not. Let us know if you need help sorting through your options or figuring out how to make your decision.

Onward we go!
