John M. “Jack” Quinn P ’30
Dear Friends:
Jack leaned on his faith during times of mighty challenges and he sustained it during times of tranquility. He prayed every night with Storm, and he encouraged Storm in his own faith. It has been important to Jack to support the renovation of the Little Sanctuary at St. Albans School — a place where Storm participates in chapels and services and where our family can go for moments of quiet reflection.
Jack wrote this prayer last Christmas:
May we seek opportunities to love and help serve, and never take unfair advantage.
May we remember to cut off anger before it has time to rise.
May we never forget to be generous toward the needy even when that requires sacrifice.
May we live up to our commitments and make amends and may we seek forgiveness when we overlook them.
May the year ahead surprise us with celebrations of peace and harmony.
Jack has and always will serve as an inspiration of humility, wisdom, unselfish love, and faith. Supporting the reconstruction of the Little Sanctuary is a fitting tribute to him and a gift to our family and most especially to Storm of whom Jack was so very proud.
Thank you for your friendship and support,
Susanna Quinn
