2010 Season at the St. Albans Tennis ClubOnline Registration
We are located in Washington, DC, on the grounds of the magnificent National Cathedral and offer 8 soft and 2 hard tennis courts. The club has served the community for many years, and is grateful for the continuous support of its loyal club members and supporters. St. Albans is also proud to be the tennis facility for the boys and girls attending the National Cathedral and St. Albans Schools. Students use the club to practice and to play competitive matches during their spring and fall seasons. We also give tennis players from outside the community the opportunity to experience our facility by offering exciting tennis camps and clinics throughout the year (for more information, please proceed to the appropriate page).
The St. Albans Tennis Club offers private and group tennis lessons to players of all ages and skill levels, as well as special social events throughout the year.
Hope to see you on the courts!

Court Rules
• Each member is only allowed to sign in once during peak time.
• During peak time, the club allows 1 hour for singles and 1.5 hours for doubles. If courts are available past this time frame and no other members are waiting, members are permitted to continue playing past the time limit.
• Court #6 is reserved for private or group lessons.
• If a member has completed an hour of singles play and would then like to play doubles with another member who has not yet played, doubles playing time is reduced from 1.5 hours to 1 hour. This is done to assure that as many different members as possible get a chance to play during this "high demand" period.
• Of course, members are permitted to sign in again in the afternoon (1 p.m. - closing).
• Courts are assigned only when at least two players are present
• There must be at least two signatures before a court is taken
• Court time starts when players go out to the court
• Do not use the courts after rain unless permitted by attendant or director
• Junior members are encouraged to play during the hours of least activity and must release the courts to adults during peak times
• Proper court etiquette and behavior are required of all players at all times
Guest Procedures
• Guests (and accompanying members) must register at the front desk when first entering the club
• Members are required to pay a guest fee for all adults and children who are not members of the club and who will be using the tennis courts
• The guest fee (for both adults and juniors) is $10
• Any given guest is only allowed to be invited a total of 10 times during the season (April – December)
• It is the members’ responsibility to know whether their guest has been invited in the past
• Only members can pay the guest fee; attendants will not accept fees from guests
• Guests may not request a court, nor can they be on the waiting list
• Members are responsible for their guests’ attire; juniors are subject to the same rules
